Chrissy and Brandy met the modern way: by hearting on Hinge (swoon!) in 2021. Their first date was a virtual coffee date, due to distance — They talked for hours and set up a in person date 9 days later. Their second date led to some GAY PANIC however, after the third date they've been together ever since!

Chrissy and Brandy decided they would propose to each other in the Fall of 2023. However just a few months later Chrissy began weaving her “web of lies” and popped the question on January 28th 2023 at the place they first said “l love you”, Diskin Cider. With the help of their friends and staff at Diskin, Brandy was surprised with a special cider flight with a “menu” of moments of their relationship. With their song "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston playing over the speakers and a whole lot of nerves, Chrissy got down on one knee and proposed.
